Inside Out Photography Project
There are many forms of human expression. Many sub-cultures are known for how their expression comes from inside out. Some of these sub-cultures are music based such as Punk, Emo, and Scene. Other forms of expression are more mood and lifestyle based like Goth. People with similar interests or are part of a group also express themselves with clothing, hair style, makeup, body language, skin art, and piercing such as Skaters and Bikers. Human expression comes in many forms which may be expressed or displayed in many ways. These photographs are about the form of expression that can be seen even though they are deep within. Some want others to see them for who they are while others may be hiding behind their outward appearance. Your appearance can be used to just blend in or show your pain and sorrow. It may be used to fool or intimidate. It may just be a way to connect with others and be a part of a group or movement. Inside Out is about those who show who they are or who they want to be using their body as a blank canvas to make you think, without a single word being spoken.
