Historic Eau Claire Home That Burnt Down Has Been Restored

May 13, 2013 Travis Dewitz

Years later, the historic Henry Van Hovenberg House downtown Eau Claire on Lake Street has been rebuild, now with yellow peaks.  The house caught on fire on a cold and snowy Valentines Day night in 2010. I am glad they were able to rebuild this home over losing one of the few historic homes left in Eau Claire. Here is the photo set from that cold Valentines Day night. https://www.dewitzphotography.com/eau-claire-wi-photographer/eau-claire-historic-home-burns-down-on-a-snowy-valentines-day-night/
